Virginian Militia Pledges to Defend Sheriffs, Cops and Citizens from Gun Grabbing Governor

Team of former military special ops and law enforcement officers may be called on to stop an unconstitutional gun confiscation.

Sadly in a report that is being ignored by the nation’s Deep State-controlled news media, the Virginia Army National Guard responded to a Democratic congressman from the state who suggested the governor could use armed guardsmen to enforce the Democrats’ latest stab at a gun-control law.

Major General Timothy Williams, the Adjutant General of VNG, responded to the leftist Rep. Donald McEachin, D-Virginia, who warned gun owners that Virginia’s power-drunk Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam may need to muster the National Guard if counties – especially those located in the Old Dominion — refuse to uphold any new gun-control legislation, according to a video posted at the bottom of this news story.

“We have received multiple questions regarding proposed legislation for the 2020 General Assembly session and the authority of the Governor of Virginia to employ the Virginia National Guard in a law enforcement role,” Williams said in a statement posted to the official Virginia National Guard Twitter account

Those journalists, who actually covered this story, reported on how leftist lawmakers in Virginia were threatening to use the National Guard if county sheriffs’ offices and local police departments refused to enforce the law that they felt violated the Second Amendment.

Virginia’s Tazewell County officials are not planning to go down without a fight. On top of calling themselves a Second Amendment sanctuary county, they’re also crafting their own militia as well. The Virginian county has taken the movement that has swept across the state and added an element that is sure to trigger gun-grabbing politicians in the state, according to the magazine Law Enforcement Today.

On December 10, 2019, the Board of Supervisors from Tazewell County passed two different resolutions in light of controversy circling those who are pro-gun. The first resolution declared the county to be a Second Amendment sanctuary. They join the 76 out of 95 counties, 9 out of 38 cities, and 13 towns that have adopted Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions.

The second item on the County’s agenda was establishing a County volunteer militia. When both of the resolutions passed, the crowd cheered loudly in support of the decisions.   The motion to create a militia had already succeeded in an unofficial way based on a poll conducted in early December by county officials.

There were three attorneys on the County Board of Supervisors. Many of the other declarations made from other counties in Virginia were closely checked by the three attorneys to ensure nothing important would be glossed over or left out.

The biggest factors in these resolutions are funding and prosecution.

County Administrator Eric Young reportedly considered that element, and that’s why they opted for the militia aspect: “Our position is that Article I, Section 13, of the Constitution of Virginia reserves the right to ‘order’ militia to the localities. Therefore, counties, not the state, determine what types of arms may be carried in their territory and by whom. So, we are ‘ordering’ the militia by making sure everyone can own a weapon.”

Thus, if anyone from the state tries to remove the Sheriff from their elected office because they refuse to enforce unjust laws, those state officials will be faced with a lawful militia composed of citizens from within the state.

There might be a problem in trying to use the state National Guard in this since part of the oath every American soldier takes is to obey all LAWFUL (capitalized for emphasis) orders received. That and the fact that for our military the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and what our oath requires us to defend against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.

Per the video above referencing body armor and level III kevlar?
A correction… Level III kevlar is designed to stop PISTOL rounds. And not ALL pistol rounds at that…
7.62×25 will shred level III. I have 3 Romanian Tokarev TTC’s and 1 Russian TT33 that fire this round. We use these to CC in case we’re ever in a situation where we’re being fired upon by someone behind cover like a car, a dumpster, around s brick corner, etc.
Also, in the back of my mind, we wanted rhese particular sidearms just in case America ever had to face off against armed govt for whatever reason…
And here we are now… 2019 America and liberal shitskins trying to intimidate gun owners with promised use of govt force.

    Resist tyranny.

    Adapt.

If the government closes your store, put groceries on the shelf and say that your company is essential.

If the government uses drones, shoot them down.

When body amour is banned, make it yourself.

    Think.
