New Book by Rising Star Provides Political Action Plan for Millennial Voters (Video Included)
The buzzword used to describe Americans who became adults at the turn of the century is Millennials. While there are several dates given to define who is a Millennial and who is not, Neil Howe and William Strauss, authors of the book Generations: The History of America’s Future, 1584 to 2069, are said to have coined the term and define the Millennial generation as consisting of individuals born between 1982 and 2004.
While news outlets claim that most members of the so-called Millennial cohort are situated on the left of the political spectrum, the purveyors of information usually fail to mention the Millennials serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, the nation’s law enforcement agencies, and the intelligence community, many of whom fit the definition of Millennium.
If there is one conservative Millennial who is currently on a trajectory of success in political commentary and debate one would have to look no further than the Millennial’s Millennial, Kristin Tate. As if suddenly exploding onto the political scene, Ms. Tate is quickly making a name for herself as an intelligent and persuasive voice of the libertarian wing of the conservative movement.
Now, with the nation embroiled in a heated presidential cycle that many political writers, commentator and pollsters believe is difficult gauge, Kristin Tate has released her own contribution to what many regard as the most important presidential election in recent history. With humor and a modern perspective, young journalist Kristin Tate points out what’s broken in the U.S. government and advises her readers how they can fix it.
Tate unveils her new book Government Gone Wild: How D.C. Politicians Are Taking You for a Ride – and What You Can Do About It with the same vitality and fervor with which she provides excellent opinion from a conservative point of view on shows aired on Fox News Channel, the increasingly successful NewmaxTV, and other news and commentary outlets..
At 24-years-old with remarkable good looks, the passionate and politically involved Ms. Tate worries that her fellow Millennials — and even 40-something elders — have become politically apathetic and brainwashed into accepting big government ideology, instead of thinking for themselves. But it’s not too late to take on the status quo. Tate’s fresh political action handbook, GOVERNMENT GONE WILD, is for a new generation of voters who, like her, are irked that they will be paying for out-of-control government their entire working lives; and know that if America is to retain stability and liberty, it’s going to be up to them to make sure government is working again.
Smart, irreverent, and yes, hip, Tate shows readers on both sides of the aisle that politics isn’t just vital to their future-it’s a fun way to agitate the entitled political establishment. If one needed an example of the axiom, “Wise beyond her years,” it would be Kristin Tate.
Government Gone Wild (978-1455566242, $26.00) was released to bookstores and online on April 26, and can be ordered at Amazon.com.
