El Paso Mayhem: About 20 Dead with Others Wounded as Gunman Attacks Shoppers; Police Consultant Urges Citizens’ to Arm Themselves
A gunman allegedly armed with an AK-47 began a killing spree on Saturday in a crowded Walmart store and around a nearby shopping mall in El Paso, Texas.
Although there appears to be confusion regarding the casualties, a local police sergeant claims there are at least 20 people dead and dozens injured, he said.
Store employees, mall workers, including security officials, and shoppers described scenes of horrified confusion and terror when they discovered the sudden loud noises they heard weren’t objects being dropped from tractor-trailers delivering goods or from any construction but were gunshots.
One suspect was taken alive and is in the custody of local police, a source told Conservative Base’s editor, who is a former law enforcement chief. Law enforcement sources told reporters on the scene that police detectives identified the suspect as Patrick Crusius, 21, from Dallas, Texas.
A second person of interest was also taken into custody, but it was not known what role that suspect played in the shooting, sources familiar with the investigation said.
As the news coverage increased throughout the country on Saturday afternoon, it was only a matter of time before the Democratic Party’s leftist news media began blaming this mass killing on (1) white men who are racists and (2) the availability of firearms to Americans.
Within hours of identifying the shooter as not being a member of Antifa, Black Lives Matter, or other far-left organizations, or not being a Muslim radical seeking revenge on the United States, the horde of radicals currently running for the presidential nomination began to chime in about the need to disarm American citizens.
“The Democrats and the media are only fooling some Americans about their desire to disarm gun owners for the safety of U.S. citizens. If they really cared about safety and security, there would have been a US-Mexico border wall built within the first months of the Trump administration,” said former police captain David Greenfield. “These sociopaths and malignant narcissists don’t care about protecting lives. They care about enriching their bank accounts and increasing their political power,” he added.
In prior news/analysis columns, Conservative Base’s Jim Kouri reported that former Shotgun News editor John Snyder called for gun owners and those who wish to live by the rule of law to drive the gun control nuts into oblivion.

“American gun owners should resolve to drive gun grabbers into social and political oblivion,” one of America’s top gun law experts said in his Arlington, Va., office.
John Snyder, the former editor of Shotgun News, said that “gun owners and gun owner groups should develop, promote and implement an attack strategy against the gun grabbing establishment.”
