In an article at The American Conservative, Professor Gavin Ahern of Xavier College Prep is in the spotlight for bringing up the controversial topic of abortion and genocide to his students. The open letter below is intended to commend and encourage Professor Ahern, his colleagues, peers, students and all people of goodwill to continue to shed light regarding the sanctity of life.

Along these same lines, we are getting more and more reports regarding gag orders on educators who have the courage to speak out regarding the injustice, of the current one sided imbalance and intolerance regarding freedom of speech regulations.

The popular movie series GOD’S NOT DEAD and a growing pool of other movies explore the role of educators like Professor Ahern who are swimming upstream in today’s culture war. Please support this movement at Movie Guide.

Finally, please join us at CRU (Civil Rights for the Unborn) in encouraging Professor Ahern and indeed all educators to speak the truth even in the face of the onslaught of political correctness.

Dear Mr. Ahern,

I am writing you because I read about the recent controversy surrounding the flyer which you distributed to your students about abortion and the black genocide going on in our country today. I applaud you for your courage to share the truth with your students. The opposition, the abortion industry, has flooded society with so many lies for so long about what abortion really is and how it affects our society, that when someone takes a stance against them, it seems like everyone comes down on you. I was encouraged to read that the faculty is standing behind you and not letting pressure from the community dictate their actions.

As you may know, I work with Fr. Frank Pavone at Priests for Life. As a nondenominational Christian, I highly regard the Catholic Church’s teaching on abortion and contraception. In a time where so many colleges are extending invitations to pro-abortion public figures to speak to the students, it is refreshing to know that you are standing up and teaching your students the truth.

Also, your compassion is evident in your providing insight to the female students to bring them awareness of the dangers of abortions and hyper sexuality which is being marketed to them on a daily basis through television, peer pressure, and all the political posturing over “women’s reproductive health.” Abortion is not healthcare.

I encourage you to stand firm in your conviction to spread the truth about abortion and help protect our young women from falling into the deceptive harmful trap of the abortion lies.

If there is anything I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to contact me through my assistant, Eugene Vigil at [email protected]. Please be assured of our prayers and support.
