Let’s not make the same mistake as Europe! by Larry KLayman, Esq.

“Now is not the time for political correctness. There is no constitutional right for non-citizens or non-permanent residents to immigrate to our shores, much less remain in our country if they are regrettably already here! And, that is why Trump’s plan to deport illegal aliens also makes sense, and why Obama’s attempted blanket amnesty to over 5 million illegal must be legally put to an end.”
You do not have to be well-educated, and most of our populace regrettably is not, to realize that ancient Rome fell after it stupidly allowed barbarians though its gates. Sure, there were social and political issues contributing to the fall of this great empire, but it was the rot from within – exacerbated by the barbarians – that put the nail in Rome’s coffin.

As a young man at Duke University, I majored in both French and European politics. I studied my junior year in Aix-en-Provence, France, wrote a thesis titled “Les Evenements de Mai 1968,” which dealt with a student-communist uprising in the country that almost overthrew the government of President Charles de Gaulle, and graduated with honors as a result. Later, after law school and a stint as a prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, I joined an international trade law firm. Taking a hiatus from the firm, I served as a “stagiare,” or intern, in what was then called the European Community in Brussels, Belgium.
