Fox News’ “The Five” Wishes CRN’s Robert Conrad a Happy Birthday! — Robert Conrad (born Conrad Robert Falk; March 1, 1935) is a retired American film and television actor, singer, and stuntman. He was best known for his role in the 1965–69 television series The Wild Wild West, playing the sophisticated Secret Service agent James T. West. He portrayed World War II ace Pappy Boyington in the television series Baa Baa Black Sheep (later syndicated as Black Sheep Squadron). In addition to acting, he was a singer, and recorded several pop/rock songs in the late 1950s and early 1960s as Bob Conrad. He has hosted a weekly two-hour national radio show (The PM Show with Robert Conrad) on CRN Digital Talk Radio since 2008.

Robert Conrad (known in our circles as “Uncle Bob”) celebrated his birthday on March 1 – and received a special shoutout from Fox News’ The Five!

Jim, I met Bob Conrad in the middle 70s in Dayton, Ohio. It surprised me that he was such a little guy, but very charming. I also met Raymond Burr, and he liked his Gibson’s…never wanted the onions removed…I finally told him there’d be no more room for the booze if he didn’t eat a few of them or allow me to dump them out. He was a big guy, just like he looked on TV in Perry Mason…but gosh, didn’t you love WILD WILD WEST and PERRY MASON!
