Ethics Complaint Filed Against Rep. Ilhan Omar For Immigration Law Violations
While the Democratic Party is exhausting itself with one Trump allegation and phony investigation after another, the corruption and alleged criminality among its ranks appears to go unnoticed by the neo-socialist, Donkey-logo far-left lawmakers.
One of the nations top public-interest is so angry with a member of the House of Representatives that it hand-delivered an ethics complaint to Chairman David Skaggs of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics.
The complaint calls for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, may have married her biological brother in order to get him into the United States. Such an action means that a federal lawmaker perpetrated a fraud in violation of U.S. Immigration Law. (See video at end of news report.)
“[Our] evidence is overwhelming that Rep. Omar violated [both] the law and House rules. The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” stated the prolific Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
“We encourage Americans to share their views on Rep. Omar’s apparent misconduct with their congressmen.”
Judicial Watch’s hand-delivered a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics also demands further investigation of Rep. Ilhan Omar over new allegations that her alleged lover, Tim Mynett, received nearly $230,000 from her campaign since July 2018.
The latest letter supplements Judicial Watch’s a previous ethics complaint demanding an investigation of alleged marriage, immigration, tax, and other fraud related to the allegation that Rep. Omar had married her brother. The new campaign finance allegations arise as a result of divorce filings alleging the affair between Mr. Mynett and Rep. Omar.
“Rep. Omar has significant ethics problems, and the House Ethics Committee must act to investigate the serious and substantial allegations against her,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Frankly, there’s more than enough evidence for the Justice Department to initiate a criminal investigation of Rep. Omar.”
While Omar travels throughout the nation spewing her venom on Jews, white Republicans and others, the news media and the Democratic Party are busy trying to destroy President Donald Trump.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the House impeachment resolution vote against Trump:
“Today’s vote endorses an abusive process that rolls over the rights of President Trump and undermines the rule of law. This was no impeachment resolution – it was a coup resolution. This coup attack was corruptly formed and corruptly pursued. The U.S. Senate should rule out a trial on any so-called impeachment arising from the Pelosi-Schiff abuse of the U.S. Constitution.
