Dr. Alveda King: Trump Campaign Announces Launch of ‘Women for Trump’

“The Squad is: A self-avowed ‘gang’ of beautiful, powerful, Jezebelesque women devoted to stirring up strife and mayhem. They should know better.” – Evangelist Alveda King, Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Celebrity Trump supporters Diamond and Silk are working with Alveda King, Kimberly Guilfoyle and others to encourage them to support the Trump presidency.

Today Lara Trump, Ronna McDaniel, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Mercedes Schlapp, Katrina Pierson, and Kayleigh McEnany announced the launch of Women for Trump, a coalition to support the re-election of President Donald J. Trump. Women for Trump will actively recruit, empower, and activate women to share the President’s mission to Keep America Great and his message of ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept’ across the country.

“Because of President Trump’s policies, women have seen large gains in employment numbers, in securing our communities and most importantly in equipping the next generation of female leaders” said Lara Trump. “‘Women for Trump’ will not only highlight the President’s clear record of success during his first term but will share a vision of empowerment and prosperity for every person in every corner of our country.”

“The difference between our party and the Democrats is we treat women as the whole voter. Women care about health care, we care about education, we care about our military, we care about our economy and yes, we do care about the unborn,” said Ronna McDaniel, RNC Chairwoman. “With this group of women, if we have the bold conversations, tout the results of this administration, ignore the negativity of the media and share the truth about what is happening in our country, we will show the true power of ‘Women for Trump’ and re-elect the president!”

The Women for Trump advisory board is comprised of business owners, health care professionals, law enforcement officers, activists, wives, sisters, and mothers. They have dedicated their careers and lives to building stronger communities and a better country for future generations. These trailblazing women have made significant contributions to the economy and exemplify the best of America.

“There never has been a President that has worked so hard on behalf of American women as President Trump,” said Kimberly Guilfoyle. “People can argue politics all day long, but the numbers are the numbers and they simply cannot be debated nor ignored. It is an honor for me to be part of this movement.”

President Trump’s policies have created more than five million new jobs, 3.2 million of which have benefitted women, equaling 57% of all jobs created, and he wants to create another five million jobs in the next four years. As a result, the unemployment rate for women is at its lowest level in over 65 years, and in his first year in office the number of women in poverty fell by approximately 600,000 American families are benefiting from President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which doubled the Child Care Tax Credit, expanded the credit to more middle-class families, and increased its refundability.

President Trump supports a plan for nationwide paid family leave that gives parents 6-weeks of paid leave to care for their newborn child. In addition to building a more prosperous economy, President Trump has fought to keep America’s families safe. He signed legislation to improve the federal firearm background check system to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals. Further, the President has a comprehensive proposal to secure the southern border with humanitarian assistance, more law enforcement, drug detection at our ports and closing loopholes that enable sex trafficking and child smuggling.

Women for Trump will build a massive team to share the true success stories of President Trump’s first term in office and create an opportunity for women who believe in prosperity and freedom to participate in supporting the President’s re-election. In the first quarter of 2019, the President had more female donors than any of the Democrat candidates, accounting for nearly half of the contributions he received. This is further evidence of support for the President among women that will only continue to grow through this targeted effort. Leading the diverse Board of Advisors as co-chairs are: Harmeet Dhillon of California, Deneen Borelli of Connecticut, Attorney General Pam Bondi of Florida, Katrina Campins of Florida, Stacey Dash of Florida, Dr. Gina Loudon of Florida and Madison Gesiotto of Ohio.
