Suspect Arrested for Threatening To Chop Up GOP Senator and Family with Ax

A man is in federal police custody after threatening to kill former presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Rand Paul and hack his family to death with an ax. This latest incident follows a number of threats from the radical far-left to attack GOP politicians, conservative pundits and rank-and-file members of the Republican Party.Some believe that the Democrats’ leadership — Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Al Green, Rep. Adam Schiff and others — are pointing to just about anyone who supports President Donald Trump and his agenda and calling for their Democratic Party voters to “get in their faces.”

The man has been arrested by Capitol Police officers. He allegedly called in the threats to Paul’s Bowling Green office. “Someone threatened to kill me and chop my family up with an ax. He’s been arrested. It’s like, really? Where’s this going to end?” Paul said Monday at a Rotary Club event in his home state of Kentucky.

“Capitol Police had issued an arrest warrant for a man who threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an axe,” Paul said. “It’s just horrendous that we have to deal with things like this.”

It remains a mystery if the attack was motivated by the senator’s support for President Trump, but police officers believe that there appears to be a pattern since the far-left of the Democratic Party decided after being defeated in the last presidential election that violence and intimidation are proper responses to not getting your way.

At the same time, hundreds of protesters marched down Pennsylvania Avenue to protest the Trump Administration’s family detention and separation policies, and demand the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE). The walk ended in the Hart Senate building, where hundreds were arrested by Capitol Police officers.
