Alveda King: More Surprises Ahead in the Race (No Pun Intended) of the Century

The following is submitted by Evangelist Alveda C. King, niece of civil-rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:

As we celebrate many landmark victories at the beginning of the 2018 new year, including the new MLK National Historic Park and other historical revelations, we may also be gearing up for the race of the century; President Trump and Oprah. At any rate for now, let us thank God for the opportunities before us. We can be great again.

We are approaching “Black History Month.” Let’s prepare to maximize opportunities for unity and reconciliation as we acknowledge the biblical and scientific evidence that we are not separate races, but are rather One Blood/One human race. This post from my cousin Isaac Newton Farris, Jr. makes some good points.

President Barack Obama gives the Medal of Freedom to Oprah Winfrey. These politicians and entertainers love giving each other awards, honors and undeserved praise. The editor of Conservative Base met Winfrey during an appearance on her talk show. She’s not that savvy when it comes to politics.

And who doesn’t love Oprah? Hollywood’s favorite Diva is once again making a splash with words for the curious about who shall see God. According to Miss Winfrey, everyone will see God; with the caveat that Christianity holds no dibs on the opportunity.

Actually, as is often the case with various viewpoints, there is some truth in the diatribe associated with religious debates. With the exception of atheists, most people believe in a “higher power” that we stand to meet one day. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to have the Great Judge as ABBA Father, my “heavenly father” when I stand before the Judgment Seat. We can only experience such a blessing by receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior before we take our last breaths.

“Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.'” John 14:6

The thing is, while God is the ultimate judge, there is a unique and special opportunity through Christianity to have God not only as our final judge. Yet some choose to avoid the nuances that this opportunity offers.

In closing, let me remind you to please remember to check out our Roe v. Wade movie and my new book, KING TRUTHS.

We are in a crosshairs, with much to lose and more to gain. Remember America in prayer, and let’s thank God for President Trump’s fulfillment of many of his campaign promises. Also, continue in faith and love, praying for all of humanity, for the end of government funded abortions, and for positive solutions in our governmental affairs!
