In a recent GOP debate in Colorado, the moderator asked Darryl Glenn how he would work across party lines to find compromise in Washington.
“I think your question exemplifies what’s wrong with America and the frustration out there. You don’t get it,” Glenn said. “It’s not about reaching across the aisle. You need a leader to stand up there and represent the values of this country.”
I don’t know about you, but I think it’s great to see someone push back on this notion that Republicans are always supposed to compromise with Democrats while the Democrats steamroll us with their liberal agenda.
This view, which is held by many Republicans in the Senate today, has given us massive bailouts, uncontrolled spending, and over $19 trillion in debt.
The media wants to force Republicans to compromise their principles or risk being labeled “extreme.” But of course, they never expect Democrats to compromise. It’s always heads they win, tails we lose.
Darryl Glenn was right to push back on this loaded question and it’s refreshing to see someone with the guts to speak the truth.
We don’t need any more deal makers in Washington. We need more leaders who will fight for the policies that will truly save this country. Help us send a message to the GOP deal makers who think it’s their job to play nice with the Democrats while Harry Reid (D-NV) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) impose their liberal policies on our country.
Help us send a new leader to Washington who will reject the culture of dependency that the Democrats have forced upon this country.
Enough is enough! It’s time to fight back and Darryl Glenn is one of the only Senate candidates in the country who will do it. Mail-in voting begins in early June so there’s no time to waste. Stand with conservatives in Colorado by supporting this outstanding leader.
